Water-Hydrogen
Fuel Kit For Cars - Is it Real Or Scam?
You are probably crying out
right about now, screaming in protest at the sickening increase in the
price of crude oil, which is directly causing a spike in gasoline prices
all around the world. Before too long, if it hasn't happened already,
the price of a gallon of gas at the pump is going to top $4 in the United
States. It has been rumored that by the end of 2008 the
price will reach up around $6 a gallon. Is there no end in site? Has
the oil producing world gone mad?
So now there is talk all over
the Internet about a device called a Hydrogen Conversion kit, claiming
to use regular tap water to create a hybrid water-gas combination fuel
to run your car's engine. But, is this just a Hydrogen conversion kit
scam? Are people out there preying on desperate car drivers? Let's review
the technology and find out.
The entire process is designed
to be as simple as possible. So simple the average lay man can set it
up. It involves subjecting an amount of water to electrolysis using
a little electric current from your car's battery. This process breaks
up the water molecules into its separate parts of hydrogen and oxygen.
What results is a gas called Hydroxy, or HHO. This gas is then pumped
into the engine's intake system, where it mixes with the gasoline and
air moving around in there, and the resultant combustion is boosted.
The best benefit of the hydrogen
and oxygen mixture is that it is known to be three times more powerful
than just regular gasoline. What this means is that HHO burns at far
greater power. What the hydrogen conversion kit does is make the car's
engine think everything is running normally. That way, the engine doesn't
require as much gasoline moving through it to get more performance out
of it. Less gas plus more performance equals better gas mileage.
But just how effective are
these hydrogen conversion kits? We've shown that the technology exists,
and that it works. But is it worth it? Is the difference in gas mileage
going to make a difference- a significant difference at the gas pump
and in your wallet?
Car owners who have installed
these kits on their own cars have indicated their gas mileage has increased
upwards of 50% when using the same amount of gasoline. That means that
previously spending $1200 a month on gas would pay $1200 back in the
pocket by the end of the year. What could that buy?
What skeptics
complain about is based upon a misconception.
There is a benefit among the naysayers that this technology runs completely
on water, eliminating gasoline altogether- while this type of technology
does in fact exist, it just isn't feasible for average household car
owners. They'd have to build huge storage tanks on everyone's cars to
make 100% water as fuel feasible. But by having a simple hydrogen conversion
kit installed, the technology just mixes water with existing gas to
work on improving gas mileage and increase the engine's performance.
So, how tempting is getting a hydrogen conversion kit sounding to you
now?
